World Famous Car Incidents

Mini

Heading home from a night out in London, the T Rex star Marc Bolan was the passenger in a Mini when it collided with a tree just a mile from home. Bolan was killed two weeks before his 30th birthday, while his girlfriend (the driver) survived with a broken jaw. Today a bronze statue marks the spot where he died.
